About the school
Welcome to Kelvyn Park Junior and Senior High School! I’m Michelle Suttmeier, and I am proud to serve as the principal of this vibrant learning community located in the heart of Chicago’s Hermosa neighborhood on the city’s northwest side. At Kelvyn Park, we serve students in grades 7–12 and are dedicated to fostering creativity, curiosity, and academic excellence. As a Fine and Performing Arts school, we celebrate the power of artistic expression while preparing students for the future through access to early college coursework and a wide range of enrichment opportunities. Our goal is to ensure every student graduates confident, capable, and ready to thrive in college, career, and life.
