About the school

At Gary Comer College Prep 6-12, we believe every student deserves access to an excellent education that opens doors, regardless of background, zip code, or starting point. Our mission is to develop independent thinkers, courageous problem solvers, and compassionate leaders prepared to thrive in middle school, high school, college, and careers. We envision a future where our alumni are competitive in the workforce, living choice-filled lives, and are agents of positive change in their communities. Our Priorities for SY26-28: For the next three years, our work will be guided by three driving priorities- undergirded by a culture of clarity, consistency, and connection (C3) 1. Academic Excellence with Equity -- Ensuring all students, especially those furthest from opportunity, have access to rigorous, high-quality instruction and support. 2. Pathways That Matter -- Preparing students for high school, college, career, and life by investing deeply in guidance, exposure, and skill-building. 3. Adult Culture and Capacity -- Building and sustaining a high-performing, mission-aligned adult team capable of delivering transformative outcomes. As Noble's first and only 6-12 campus, we proudly serve 1000 students in the Greater Grand Crossing community and partner with community organizations to provide wrap-around support for all Catamount students and families.
