About the school
Roosevelt High School is the neighborhood high school of Albany Park, one of Chicago’s most diverse communities. Our families and staff celebrate this diversity in our Dual Language program, one of only 3 dual language high schools in Chicago. In addition, we have 5 highly successful Career Pathway programs (CTE) which draw students from across the city, including IT/Networking, IT, Game Design and Coding, Health Careers, Culinary Arts and the Education Pathway for students excited to become teachers themselves one day. Roosevelt has an extensive arts program, including visual fine arts, photography, digital design, band performance, vocal performance and drama. We boast a brand new turf soccer field, home to boys and girls, soccer, football, flag football, softball and baseball. Our two gyms host boys/girls volleyball, badminton, and boys/girls basketball.Our top quality pool supports our swim and water polo teams Roosevelt has one of the largest after school club programs in Chicago, including Latin Dance, Student Writers, Spirit Club, Student Voice, Martial Arts, Gender
